This competition invites participants to create AI-generated images
showcasing women in tech. We aim to empower women and girls to engage with AI tools creatively, developing practical skills in prompt writing and image generation that reflect their own experiences in technology.

Judging and Assessment Criteria
- Entries will be judged by a panel of judges including the WIC Committee and AI thought leaders.
- Entries will be judged on the following:
Representation & Creativity (25%) – Creative, diverse and empowering artistic interpretation of women in tech.
Impact & Storytelling (25%) – Engaging title and description with strong storytelling.
Technical Execution & Quality (25%) – Clarity, composition, and AI craftsmanship.
Ethical & Responsible AI Use (25%) – Transparency and respect for intellectual property.
Terms and Conditions
How to submit entries
Entries should be submitted through the Woobox application on the WIC.org.au website by the due date. Once submitted you may share your entries via WIC socials including Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
Rights to use names and the images
By submitting an entry, the entrant agrees to being named and WIC using the image for promotional purposes including via social media and other forms of media including print. The entry will remain the intellectual property of the creator and will be credited when used by WIC.
Content and details
Entries must be of your own creation and not in the ‘style of’ an artist. Entries must be submitted with the following information to be considered:
- First and last name of entrant
- Be accompanied with a:
- title and a short description no more than 200 words or 30 second video (optional) including more about the real woman/women you chose to celebrate and why you decided to bring their story to life, and
- short written description of the considerations and process you went to generate the image (include tools used, ethical considerations, prompts, etc) no more than 200 words
- Showcase women and girls in tech, creating a sense of belonging
- Be authentic, inclusive and creative
- Entrants must disclose the AI tools, source images, algorithms, or platforms used to generate their image.
- You may enter up to two entries. Entries must be submitted via WooBox to be considered for major prizes.
