WIC is delighted to announce the winners of its inaugural AI Image Equity Challenge, the “You Can’t Be What You Can’t See” competition, held as part of WIC’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
As WIC marks its 25th anniversary, the 2024–25 Annual Report reflects a transformative year for the organisation — one that elevated our reach, deepened our purpose, and showcased the strength of our growing community. This year, WIC proudly transitioned from a committee structure to a formal Board, setting a strategic foundation for the next phase of our journey. With the theme "Paving the Path", we celebrated connection, equity, and leadership through a series of powerful programs and events.
This year, we are proud to have placed an impressive 44 talented young women and non-binary students across 22 generous host organisations. These students will be gaining invaluable real-world experience in ICT-related fields between the end of July and the end of October.
Women in ICT (WIC) is reshaping the visual narrative of the technology industry with its AI Image Equity
Challenge.
At this year’s Ivanti Live, WIC's President Josephine Calabria delivered a powerful keynote on “Breaking Down Silos and Leading with Inclusion,” calling on leaders to treat diversity not as a “nice to have” but as a business imperative.
As WIC celebrates its 25th anniversary, we reflect on the incredible women who have shaped the path for future generations in ICT.
