WIC Defying Gravity Year 2020

Jessica Eustace

WIC is excited to announce the Award Winner of the Defying Gravity Award for 2020 – Jessica Eustace from Campbell High School. The WIC Defying Gravity Award recognises the impressive contribution of a woman, early in her ICT career, who demonstrates significant talent and commitment to her career in the industry.

This year’s winner Jess was nominated for her advocacy work of females in STEM. Jess works with students who are completing projects in robotics, programming and computing. Jess is the only female school-based Information Technology Officer in the ACT government who also holds a teaching degree.

Congratulations Jess on your Award! We look forward to working with you to further inspire more young women into a career in ICT.
