Mandy is an inspiring advocate for gender equity in ICT. Holding a Master of IT and various certifications (CISM, CRISC), her career trajectory spans technical roles at Apple and Telstra to leadership at KPMG and her current role as a Senior Technical Consultant at Fujitsu. Mandy’s greatest
impact lies in mentorship; she designed and built the impactful “Gov Cyber” mentoring program at KPMG and is a finalist for Mentor of The Year. She actively serves as an AWSN Chapter Lead and Fujitsu Gender Equity Advisory co-chair, driven by the principle that “you can’t be what you can’t see.” Mandy embodies visible, authentic leadership, paving a clear path for the next generation of women in the industry.

The WIC Defying Gravity Award aims to acknowledge an inspiring early to mid-career woman who is breaking barriers and effecting change towards gender equity in the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) industry. Recognizing the contributions of emerging female leaders is crucial for promoting gender equity in an industry that still faces significant under-representation of women. This award serves to elevate the profiles of exceptional future leaders and provides role models for women at all stages of their careers.
