Elise is an inspiring Year 6 teacher and a recognized leader in Educational Technology integration. Driven by a passion for equipping students with essential 21st century skills, she completed a Masters of Education in Professional Practice and holds multiple Adobe and Google certifications. Elise’s dedication has established her as a reputable expert across the ACT region in areas like gamified learning and coding. She recently presented her impactful work to over 100 teachers at an EdTech conference, showcasing her commitment to supporting colleagues. Elise’s journey exemplifies professional growth, as she plans to move into educational leadership to ensure all teachers and students become confident and future-ready users of technology.
About the Award
The Rachel Muldoon Raw Magic Award, aims to empower women transitioning from ICT studies or a career change into the ICT workforce, enabling them to reach their full
potential. The recipient of this award will receive a two year complimentary membership with WIC, a year’s worth of coaching and mentoring from a member of the WIC community, and free access to all WIC events for one year, facilitating the development of a professional network within the industry. The award, captures the spirit of Rachel Muldoon. Throughout her career, Rachel dedicated her time actively metoring and supporting people as they started or moved into an ICT carrer and tirelessly welcoming everyone in the WIC community, making them feel accepted and included.
