Join us for our iconic annual event – the WIC Dinner Debate.
The evening provides the Canberra community with the opportunity to socialise, network and enjoy an entertaining night of riotous laughter as our debators take a light hearted approach to the topic “LinkedIn, Lattes and Lycra – the only way to Network in Canberra!”
7 November 2019 – Dinner starts at 7pm – Predinner drinks from 6:15pm
Annual Award presentation
In addition we will celebrates the achievements of a stellar women in the ICT Industry through the presentation of ‘WICked Woman of the Year’ award. In addition, this year we will be introducing the new ‘Defying Gravity’ award which recognises a woman as an emerging talent in the ICT industry. We will also announce the winner of the Male Champion of Change award which thanks a strong male ally for promoting gender equality in the ICT industry.
Scholarship recipients announced
Nominations are also open for our major scholarship where we provide financial assistance to local young women who plan to attend university to study technology or engineering. The winners will be announced on the night. Donations to WIC will contribute to funding this award and you are encouraged to donate a little extra when you buy your ticket.
