WIC Breakfast Series – “Doing IT Differently”

Please join us for the second breakfast of 2023 in our series focused on “Doing IT Differently”. The topic for this series is “Doing IT Differently- Doing it great!” focusing on our unique strengths as women.
This month’s special guest speaker is Belinda Duffy.
Belinda joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in June 2021 leading the Business Solutions Branch and has taken on the role of Assistant Secretary of Passports IT in November 2022. As part of this role, Belinda is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the passport IT ecosystem and delivering the passports modernisation program.
Prior to this, Belinda was the Assistant Secretary of Operational Capability (2019 – 2021) and A/g Assistant Secretary of Traveller, Cargo and Trade Systems (2018) at the Department of Home Affairs. Belinda spent several years with the Australian Customs Service and Department of Home Affairs in executive roles covering software development and maintenance capabilities, service transition and testing functions, business engagement, major program delivery, and the introduction of low code/no code as an enterprise capability platform.
