Join us for our iconic annual event – the WIC Annual Dinner Debate at Hotel Realm.
Our debate evening is the highlight event in the ICT Industry and for the second time in 2023 we are celebrating efforts to support the advancement of women in our community and in particular recognising the fantastic achievements of women in the ICT industry.
Debate Topic: AI – the human race is doomed
In addition to the awards, six of Canberra’s ICT leaders will battle it out in a light-hearted dinner debate on the night around the topic: ‘AI – the human race is doomed’.
Our debaters include Gen Fields (ServiceNow), Emily Curlewis (Zepto), Belinda Duffy (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade), Darren Menachemson (ThinkPlace), Mike Webb (Commonwealth Treasury and 2022 WIC Male Champion of Change recipient) and Dominique Narciso Kim (The Dominique Narciso Company).
This year our debate will be moderated by Tracey Spicer AM.
Tracey is a multiple Walkley Award-winning author, journalist and broadcaster who has anchored national programs for ABC TV and radio, Network Ten and Sky News.
